Below is the list of Allianz panel hospitals in Malaysia and the process of how the patient can get admitted into the hospital.

Allianz Insurance Hospital Admission Process

Getting admission to Allianz panel hospitals means that insured persons can receive hospitalization care and service from the best private and specialist hospitals in Malaysia. This includes general treatment, ophthalmology treatment, and cardiovascular treatment.

The hospitalisation benefit is one of the benefits covered under Group Hospitalization & Surgery (GHS) insurance plan. Other benefits include ambulance fees, hospital room, surgical fees, in-hospital physician visits, second surgical opinion and many more.

Below is the process of how the patient can get admitted into the Allianz panel hospital:

1. Patient to prepare the documents:
   • Medical card
   • Malaysia NRIC/Passport
   • Referral letter (if there is any)
2. The hospital will liaise with Allianz’s Third Party Administrator (TPA)
3. An admission guarantee letter will be issued and patient to pay a deposit (if requested by the hospitals)

Allianz Medical Card

Allianz medical cards provide the convenience of going to healthcare facilities without having any worries about medical costs.

Upon admission into the healthcare facility, the patient can just present the medical card to receive treatment and care services.

This hassle-free process allows patients to focus on their recovery and not have any concerns regarding medical costs.

Allianz Blue Ribbon

Allianz Blue Ribbon program is designed to provide a whole new level of healthcare experience to fulfil the needs of the customer. It is in collaboration with exclusive private hospitals all over Malaysia.

The exclusive benefits offered under this programme include the following:

• Priority admission & discharge.
• Cashless outpatient cancer treatment.
• Bedside discharge and medication dispensary.
• Upgrade of Room & Board at selected hospitals.
• Parking privileges at selected hospitals where available.

Allianz Medical Card holders can show their physical or e-Medical card at the registration counter to enjoy the benefit under this program. There are nine (9) hospitals listed under this programme:

• Sri Kota Specialist Medical Centre

Allianz Group Hospitalisation and Surgical Insurance Waiting Period

For Hospitalisation and Surgical, the benefits will only start 30 days after the policy effective date, except for accidental injury. Meanwhile, for a pre-existing condition, it is subject to 120 day waiting period, as the coverage will only start 120 sats after the policy’s effective date. The requirements for this are:

1. The Insured Member has received or is receiving the treatment
2. Medical advice, diagnosis, care or treatment has been recommended
3. Clear and distinct symptoms are or were evident

Specified illnesses are subject to 120 waiting periods, coverage will only start 120 days after the policy’s effective date. The specified illness includes:

1. Hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and cardiovascular disease
2. All tumor of any kind, cancers, cysts, nodules, polyps, and stones of the urinary and biliary system
3. All ear, nose (including sinuses), and throat conditions
4. Hernias, haemorrhoids, fistulae, hydrocele, varicocele
5. Endometriosis including disease of the reproduction system
6. Vertebro-spinal disorders (including disc) and knee conditions

Allianz is able to waive the waiting period if the organization can provide the documents below for review and subject to Allianz’s approval.

• Last year’s policy contract
• Last year’s invoice with member detail
• Last year’s claim listing
